PREPARING GOD’S PEOPLE FOR SERVICE (A WORK OF THE CHURCH)

 

This lesson continues with the work of the church; we now turn to a second issue (edification).

Members of the church are commanded to make progress (taught and strengthened).

God demonstrated this early one with supernatural gifts (Eph. 4:11-13).

God wanted people to know the church is a place for battles, not a playground.

This is part of the meaning of “edified” (1 Cor. 14:26b).
